Privacy policy
The short version. We use your data to build and adjust your training plan, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, Your plan is made by fixed rules, not AI, and we don't use your data to train any model.
Who we are
PushTri is a triathlon training service run from the United Kingdom. For this policy, PushTri is the controller of your personal data. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@pushtri.co.uk.

How we use it
- To build your training plan and change it as your week, your results and your check-ins change.
- To match uploaded workouts to planned sessions and check them against your targets.
- To show your progress, race predictions and medals.
- If you join the waitlist, to email you when PushTri launches. That's the only thing we use it for.
- To run your account and subscription, answer your messages and keep the service secure.
Your plan is made by fixed rules, not AI, and we don't use your data to train any model.
Our legal reasons
- To provide the service you signed up for (contract): your account, profile and plan.
- Your explicit consent: health data such as heart rate, injuries, illness and weight. UK GDPR treats this as special category data. You can withdraw consent at any time, but the plan can't adapt to that data without it. We'll ask for this consent separately when you sign up.
- Your consent: the waitlist. You can ask to be removed at any time.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure and fixing problems.
- Legal obligation: keeping payment records for tax.
Connected services
Garmin Connect. When Garmin connection is available, you'll be able to choose to connect your Garmin account. We'll then receive the activities you record and can send planned workouts to your device. We'll only access what you allow on Garmin's permission screen. You'll be able to disconnect at any time from PushTri settings or from Garmin Connect, and we'll stop receiving data straight away. If you disconnect Garmin or delete your account, we delete data received from Garmin within 30 days.
Automatic syncing isn't available yet. Until it is, workouts reach PushTri only when you upload a file yourself.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data or share it for marketing. We only share it with service providers that help us run PushTri, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Website hosting: Cloudflare.
- Waitlist and, later, app accounts and data: Supabase, on servers in London.
- App hosting during the private trial: Anthropic (claude.ai).
- Email: Zoho Mail, on UK-based servers.
- App hosting, database and payments: we'll name these providers here before the full app launches.
If a provider stores data outside the UK, we use the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Your account and training data: while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days.
- Data received from Garmin: deleted within 30 days of you disconnecting Garmin or deleting your account.
- Inactive accounts: if your account is inactive for 2 years, we'll email you, then delete it.
- Payment records: 6 years, as UK tax law requires.
- Emails: up to 2 years after the conversation ends.
- Waitlist: until we've sent the launch email, or sooner if you ask us to remove you. If you then sign up, your email becomes part of your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to withdraw your consent. Email hello@pushtri.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to what's needed to run the service, and connected accounts use their own secure sign-in. We never see your Garmin password.
Age
PushTri is for adults aged 18 and over.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
